Subject line: Have you heard about Red Nose Day in School?
Hi [Name],
I wanted to reach out about Red Nose Day. As you may know, Walgreens is the retailer of the Red Nose, and as team members we are passionate about raising awareness for this amazing cause. If you haven’t heard of it, Red Nose Day is on a mission to end child poverty — one nose at a time. Through the power of entertainment, the Red Nose Day campaign raises money and awareness to ensure children who need our help the most are safe, healthy and educated.
I thought you might be interested in Red Nose Day in School, a free educational program designed to teach elementary school students about the issue of child poverty, help them develop empathy, and inspire them to create positive change.
This year's program, created in collaboration with Scholastic and NBC Learn, centers around the new Everyday Hero noses that will be available for purchase at Walgreens starting April 22. The activities are fun, flexible, and easy-to-use, and will help your kids build empathy all year while practicing core ELA and math skills.
I hope you’ll consider introducing these activities into your classroom and inspire your kids to be Everyday Heroes too. Just head to RedNoseDayinSchool.org to get started.
I’d be happy to help your class or school get in on the Red Nose Day fun by bringing the new Everyday Heroes noses straight to you, or by working with you to plan a fundraiser. Let me know if that might be of interest!
