Red Nose Day returns on Thursday, May 23, 2019 when millions of Americans, celebrities and businesses will come together wearing their Red Noses – sold exclusively at Walgreens – to fundraise, donate, and tune in for a special night of programming on NBC.
In its first four years, Red Nose Day has raised nearly $150 million and positively impacted the lives of over 16 million children.

Red Nose Day returns to America Thursday May 23, 2019.
The campaign kicks off on April 22, when the Red Noses go on sale in Walgreens and Duane Reade stores nationally. It all culminates on Thursday, May 23 with a special night of TV celebrating Red Nose Day on NBC at 8/7c.
Purchase your Red Nose in-store exclusively at a Walgreens or Duane Reade near you between April 22 – Jun 1, or purchase in bulk online. Red Noses are available in a box of 40 or a box of 240 at Walgreens.com.
Red Nose Day and Walgreens are thrilled to introduce a collection of five character Red Noses: the Everyday Heroes. The Everyday Hero Red Noses remind people of their own power to make a difference. This year Red – the original Red Nose - is still part of the mix and is joined by Ruby, Rusty, Rojo and Scarlet. Each has a superpower to help end child poverty. The Everyday Hero Red Noses are sold in a “blind bag”, and the Red Nose you choose will be a surprise.
There are lots of ways you can get involved, join the fun and support Red Nose Day, including donating online, or joining or organizing a fundraiser and tuning in to NBC’s star-studded night of Red Nose Day programming on May 23, 8/7c.
Don’t forget to follow us on social media @RedNoseDayUSA and share your Red Nose Day pics using the hashtag #RedNoseDay.
Money raised through Red Nose Day provides grants to support programs that ensure children who are living in poverty are safe, healthy and educated. Half of the money supports programs in America across all 50 states and Puerto Rico; the other half supports programs internationally in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
We work with a range of Grantee Partners who deliver these programs on the ground. You can find out more about the amazing programs we support at RedNoseDay.org/impact.

The Red Noses will be sold for $2 each. All profits of every Red Nose sold goes to the Red Nose Day Fund to support programs that ensure children who are living in poverty are safe, healthy and educated. While the price has increased to $2 this year because the characters cost more to manufacture than the traditional Red Nose, this price increase delivers a greater donation – $1.30 – to the Red Nose Day Fund. Walgreens does not make a profit from Red Nose sales or any Red Nose merchandise. No portion of the purchase is tax deductible.
Every Red Nose sold helps to raise both funds and awareness for children in need. All profits of each Red Nose sold are donated to the Red Nose Day Fund. More than that, wearing a Red Nose is an amazing way to spread the message and get more people involved.
Yes – if your employer operates a payroll giving scheme then you can set up a regular deduction from your pay and request that it comes to Red Nose Day. Please ask your employer for more information.

This year, Walgreens is introducing in-store recycle bins located at the front of stores for Red Noses that have completed their missions. Customers are able to drop off their Red Noses until mid-June, which will be recycled to make kid-friendly products like buddy benches at select schools throughout the country, among other items.
