Why are there five Red Noses this year? Can I still get a plain Red Nose?

Red Nose Day and Walgreens are thrilled to introduce a collection of five character Red Noses: the Everyday Heroes. The Everyday Hero Red Noses remind people of their own power to make a difference. This year Red – the original Red Nose - is still part of the mix and is joined by Ruby, Rusty, Rojo and Scarlet. Each has a superpower to help end child poverty. The Everyday Hero Red Noses are sold in a “blind bag”, and the Red Nose you choose will be a surprise.

How much does it cost to buy a Red Nose?

The Red Noses will be sold for $2 each. All profits of every Red Nose sold goes to the Red Nose Day Fund to support programs that ensure children who are living in poverty are safe, healthy and educated. While the price has increased to $2 this year because the characters cost more to manufacture than the traditional Red Nose, this price increase delivers a greater donation – $1.30 – to the Red Nose Day Fund. Walgreens does not make a profit from Red Nose sales or any Red Nose merchandise. No portion of the purchase is tax deductible.

How does my purchase of a Red Nose help to end child poverty?

Every Red Nose sold helps to raise both funds and awareness for children in need. All profits of each Red Nose sold are donated to the Red Nose Day Fund. More than that, wearing a Red Nose is an amazing way to spread the message and get more people involved.

Can I use payroll giving to make a regular donation to Red Nose Day from my pay?

Yes – if your employer operates a payroll giving scheme then you can set up a regular deduction from your pay and request that it comes to Red Nose Day. Please ask your employer for more information.

I know that my employer operates a matched giving scheme. How can I get them to match my donation?

Ask your employer for a matched giving form and send it along with your check, online payment reference or bank receipt to:

Comic Relief Inc Red Nose Day Fund

Can I apply for a grant from the Red Nose Day Fund?

The Red Nose Day Fund does not accept unsolicited grant applications. Organizations who receive grants are invited to submit proposals that deliver against the goals of the Red Nose Day Fund.
