When isRed Nose Day 2021? Thursday, May 27th

Mark your calendars! Red Nose Day is back on Thursday, May 27, 2021! And you *know* you want to take part in one of the most fun, most loved fundraising events in America.

For our seventh year, let’s bring joy and hope to millions of children living in poverty by rocking our digital Red Noses, tuning in to must-watch programming, and activating online and in communities across the country to raise money, have fun and make a difference.

Red Nose Day is taking on even greater urgency this year. The coronavirus pandemic caused widespread social and economic repercussions for people worldwide last year — none more so than children in underserved communities.

Over the past year, hunger in the US has reached levels not seen since the Great Depression. Many more families are now facing homelessness. Children are suffering devastating “learning loss” after a year of remote schooling, and the learning gap grows wider between underserved children with less access to the necessary tools and technology to succeed, and those in more well-resourced communities. Donations to Red Nose Day help provide critical support to children most affected by the pandemic crisis and our partners serving them.

Red Nose Day will leverage the power of entertainment to drive social change with a critical mission at hand: bringing people together to spread awareness, raise funds, and support programs that ensure children facing poverty across the country and around the world are safe, healthy, educated and empowered.

While many details for 2021 are still under wraps, there are already some fantastic things in store as Red Nose Day marks its seventh year:

We’re celebrating Red Nose Day this year with an exclusive episode of NBC’s The Wall, a trivia game show hosted by a longtime supporter of Red Nose Day, Chris Hardwick. The Wall: Red Nose Day Edition will feature a community-focused Houston family testing chance and knowledge with an opportunity to earn life-changing cash. Hardwick will also compete by putting his skills to the test on the wall to raise money for Red Nose Day. Other surprise celebrity guests will appear on the episode, with more details coming soon.

During the show, viewers at home will have the chance to support the campaign by donating and also learning how proceeds from Red Nose Day help underserved children. Be sure to tune in to NBC on May 27th at 8 pm ET! There's more to come on NBC too. Stay tuned for details and the low down on all your favorite celebs who’ll be supporting this year.

Of course, you won’t be able to miss Red Nose Day in Walgreens either. Our incredible partner is turning it on as big as ever this year, activating for communities across the country with an 8-week takeover in support of Red Nose Day in its 9,000+ nationwide locations and walgreens.com throughout April and May.

AND the digital Red Nose will be coming back for 2021! Stay tuned for more on how to get yours.

With support from partners like NBC, Walgreens, Mars, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and millions of people like you, money raised for Red Nose Day will help provide food, shelter, medical care, and most of all, hope for underserved children across America and around the world. Our amazing partners will also be activating customers, employees and the public in communities right across the country.

We continue to be amazed by the extraordinary generosity of so many supporters and, since 2015, we've raised over $240 million to positively impact nearly 25 million children in the U.S. and around the world.

This May, join an amazing community of change-makers to help raise awareness and money in support of children living in poverty, spreading more joy and bringing more hope on Red Nose Day. Get your digital Red Nose, share a laugh, and lend a helping hand to kids facing the toughest of circumstances after a year like no other.

We’ll have more to share soon. Be sure to sign up below and be the first to know what’s in store for Red Nose Day in 2021 and how you can get involved in lots of exciting new ways.
