How Your Contributions Help Children in Kenya: Baby David and Victoria Beckham
See how your contributions help ensure children stay healthy. In this video, Red Nose Day supporter Victoria Becham learns about the administration of life-saving vaccines to children in Kenya through our partnership with Amref Health Africa in Kibera.
“He doesn’t like the taste, but he’s been very good.” Says, Victoria. Victoria goes on to explain that, “The medication is given orally to prevent Baby David from getting diarrhea.”
“Between 60 and 70 babies each day visit this hospital, so you can really get a sense of the good that the money is doing here. The money really is genuinely saving lives. So a Red Nose helps pay for a vaccine that helps give Baby David a healthy start in life,” she continues.
