Red Nose Day Night of TV Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia, 21 or older. Employees of Comic Relief Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies or any other company involved in the execution or administration of this sweepstakes, and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

TO ENTER: Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 27, 2018 and 11:59 p.m. ET on May 10, 2018 (“Sweepstakes Period”), visit http://rednoseday.org/NoTVsweepstakes and follow the directions to complete and submit the entry form. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor.

DRAWING: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about May 11, 2018 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be notified by phone and/or e-mail no later than 48 hours following the drawing with instructions on how to claim the prize and must respond to the initial notification within the time period stated in that notification. Potential winner will be required to provide a copy of his/her valid photo I.D. and sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within forty-eight (48) hours of issuance in order to claim prize. If potential winner does not respond to the initial notification within the time period stated, the prize or prize notification is returned as undelivered, a potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return all required documents within the required time period or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner may be disqualified and forfeits the prize. In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check of any criminal or civil records of potential winner and guest and disqualify the potential winner and/or prohibit the guest from accompanying potential winner on trip based on the results of the background check. To the extent necessary and as permitted by law, the potential winner and guest shall authorize such a background check. In the event the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received, time permitting.

PUBLICITY GRANT: Winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, user name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes, in any manner, in all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, without additional compensation or notification to, or permission from, winner.

PRIZE: A trip for winner and one (1) guest to New York City from May 24-26, 2018 to attend the NoTV screening party. Prize package includes round trip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to New York City; three (3) nights' accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (one (1) room, double occupancy); attendance at the NoTV VIP screening party and exclusive post-party at 30 Rock; meet and greet with Christ Hardwick on May 24, 2018; and $300 OpenTable gift card (terms and conditions apply to use of gift card), which winner may use towards meals and other expenses. Approximate Retail Value: $3,000. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value. Winner and guest must comply with all venue and event rules. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of applicable portion of prize. Exact details of all prize components will be determined by Sponsor. All travel arrangements will be made through Sponsor’s agent. Winner must travel on dates determined by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. Dates are subject to change and will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs associated with prize acceptance and use not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, baggage fees, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of winner. Guest must be at least 21 years of age as of the date of departure and must travel together on same itinerary as the winner. Guest must provide a copy of his/her valid photo I.D. and execute liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round trip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Sponsor is not responsible if any event or meet and greet is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason in which event that portion of prize is forfeited in its entirety, no substitution will be provided except as in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of the prize. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor, NBC Entertainment, a division of NBC West, LLC, Universal Television, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and any other company involved in the execution or administration of this sweepstakes, and all of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents and all others associated with the development and execution of the sweepstakes (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) or participation in this sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries or email; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules or who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.

DATA COLLECTION AND USE: Any information collected in connection with a sweepstakes will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at http://rednoseday.org/privacy.
