Red Nose Day is teaming up with Skillz to bring you our first ever mobile gaming tournament to help end child poverty. You can then play in exclusive Red Nose Day tournaments to donate more! Starting June 18th at 1pm ET and going through the whole weekend, you can play to compete for prizes in Skillz-powered games – all while unlocking donations to Red Nose Day!

How does it work?

It’s simple! Each new player who downloads a game and plays unlocks a direct $1 donation to Red Nose Day from Skillz. Your first entry into a tournament is free*, all you need to do is watch a short video about the work Red Nose Day is doing to help kids in need affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

If you’re hooked and want to keep playing, you can deposit funds into your Skillz game wallet – giving you the chance to win awesome prizes from some generous Red Nose Day partners. And when you deposit, Skillz will match your first deposit as a donation to Red Nose Day (up to a total of $50,000!).

1. Pick Your Game & Download

Skillz has so many super-fun games that you can play but we are taking over these three for the weekend. All you need to do is find the game that looks the most fun (or try all three!), download the app, and start playing.

Cube Cube: Fill the board, clear the board, score points and win. Cube Cube is a simple puzzle game with deep strategy. Think Tetris but without the gravity. Download here.

Bubble Cube 2: Shoot bubbles, match colors, and score points. This is a fast-action puzzle game designed for competitive play. Download here.

Blackout Blitz: A brand new Bingo-style game!! Blackout Blitz requires concentration, speed, and strategy to become a bingo master. Do you have what it takes? (Note: This game only allows one paid entry to ensure fairness, but by downloading you can still unlock the $1 donation. Make sure to practice before entering the tournament!) Download here.

2. Join the Official Red Nose Day Tournament

Once your player profile is set up in the game of your choice, you’ll see a pop-up for the public tournament named 'G4G - Red Nose Day' which you can join. Don’t forget, if you’re a new player, by downloading the game and playing, you unlock a $1 donation to Red Nose Day. If you’re hooked and want to play more, you can add cash for entries that you can play immediately. Skillz will also match and donate 100% of your first deposit as a direct donation to Red Nose Day.

3. Play to Win!

It’s time to put your Skillz to the test. High-scorers can win some awesome prizes, like an exclusive sterling silver necklace from Red Nose Day partner Gem Stone King or an Xbox One signed by none other than Jack Black! The top 2,000 players will get free delivery from Grubhub, just for playing and entering the public tournament 5 times.

4. Level Up in a Private Tournament

Now that you’ve honed your skills in the public tournament, it’s time to join some of our celebs friends, Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim in their own private tournaments for Red Nose Day in Cube Cube.

To play, simply click “Tap Here” when you see “Have a match code?” in the app and enter either “MILORND” for Milo’s tourney, or “MEGRND” for Meg’s tourney. Be sure to check Milo and Meg’s social channels to see if you can beat their high score during their tournament!

*FREE ENTRY unlock only works once per game, and paid entry is available thereafter. Some Skillz games like Blackout Blitz may not feature free entry.
