Subject line: Build empathy and inspire students with Red Nose Day in School!

Hi [Teacher Name], I wanted to reach out about a partnership my employer, Hikma, has activated with Red Nose Day this year.

If you haven’t heard of it, Red Nose Day is on a mission to end child poverty — one nose at a time. Through the power of entertainment, the Red Nose Day campaign raises money and awareness to ensure children who need our help the most in America and around the world are safe, healthy, educated and empowered.

I thought you might be interested in particular about Red Nose Day in School, a free educational program designed to teach elementary school students (Grades 2-5) about the issue of child poverty, help them develop empathy, and inspire them to make a difference for others. The supplemental lessons and routines were created in collaboration with Scholastic, and are friendly and flexible for both remote and in-person learning! There are videos, too, to foster social-emotional learning and expand students’ worldview.

I hope you’ll consider introducing these activities into your classroom so you can inspire your kids to be everyday heroes too. Just head to RedNoseDayinSchool.org to get started. [ALTERNATIVE CLOSING: I’ve attached the program for your review and you can learn more at RedNoseDayinSchool.org]

Thank you and noses on!
